Misty Wensel

In the fall of 2004 Misty established FadaDance as a contemporary dance company and school in Regina.  Since then, Misty has become recognized for her ability to fuse Kathak into an original breed of contemporary work.  Currently she is refining this body of Kathak-influenced work in collaboration with Joanna De Souza of M-Do/Toronto Tabla Ensemble.  Holding a B Ed. in Dance Education from the U of R she teaches the arts at Dr. Martin LeBoldus High School.  She has toured across Canada with FadaDance and has presented work at The Dance and Child Conference in both Brazil(2003) & Jamaica(2009).

Fran Gilboy

Fran is a dance and yoga instructor in the city of Regina.  She has taught and created dance with FadaDance since its inception in 2004.  Her two main focuses within the school include the technical dance program and teaching creative dance to the Y-chromosomes - both young and old.  Her yoga classes are based around insight yoga and she has trained at Spirit Rock Meditation Centre in Woodacre, California and at Prajna Yoga in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Orion Paradis

Orion has always been involved in the music scene in one way or another – from growing up at gigs with a drumming dad, to throwing music festivals and multi-disciplinary events, to djing and producing bands, he always has his musical tentacles out, determined to have his ears drink up every last musical drop available. He is very pleased to be the resident musico at FadaDance and share studio space with such fine, dancing ladies.
