Anna Woodward

Anna Woodward is a lively person who loves to express herself through movement. Anna has been dancing with FadaDance for 12 years and recently completed her 5th year with the FadaDance Youth Company. With the youth company, Anna performed in the works Get on the Bus (2019), Moving Pictures (2021), Arrivals and Departures (2022), and Rivulets (2023).

Anna works to embody a unique combination of expressive and connected movement in inspiring her dance. One of her key aspects of dance is it brings a sense of groundedness to the body. She is excited about teaching and sharing her love for dance with younger dancers in the fall.

In the fall of 2023, Anna will attend the University of Regina to study French Education. In August 2022, she participated in Canada's National Ballet School's LEAD (leadership, empowerment, action, dance) workshop. From 2016-2019 Anna was an active member of the Treelines Theater youth troupe, developing originally devised theatre through collaborative, creative work. Anna performed in the shows Oopsy Daisy Whoop Whoop (2016), Whose the Dude from Quietude (2017), Big Little Old Young (2018), and The Game of Life Comes to Life (2019).
