Anna Woodward
Anna Woodward is a passionate dancer and educator whose movement is defined by a unique blend of expressivity and grounded connection. A member of the FadaDance community for 15 years, Anna enters the 2026–2027 season excited to begin her third year as a FadaDance instructor, sharing her love of dance with the next generation of movers.
Anna studied education at the University of Regina while actively teaching dance, before dedicating a year to deepening her artistry at one of Canada's premier dance programs at York University. She is also an active member of Canada's National Ballet Youth Artist Collective, where she advocates for inclusive, equitable spaces across the country, fosters authentic connections, and works to make dance more accessible to youth in Canada.
As a member of the FadaDance Youth Company, Anna performed in Get on the Bus (2019), Moving Pictures (2021), Arrivals/Departures (2022), Rivulets (2023), and Unravel & Thread (2024) — the latter of which brought her to Toronto, where she had the privilege of learning traditional Kathak dance from the renowned Joanna De Suza. Anna performed and choreographed ZESEA as part of the FadaDance Emerging Ensemble's Rhythm Dust (2025). Most recently, Anna was a part of two dance performances at York University: Moments in Passing (2025) and Here/There (2026).
