Isabella Wishlow
Isabella Wishlow is a dance artist from Regina, Saskatchewan. FadaDance has fueled her love for dance and shaped the way she moves. She is a captivating performer whose movement is described as intricate, playful, passionate and rigorous. Performing, collaborating and sharing the joy that dance sparks is what drives Isabella.
She has danced at FadaDance Studio since she was five years old. As part of the FadaDance Youth Company, she had the opportunity to travel to Jamaica (2009), Taiwan (2012) and Denmark (2015) to perform at Dance and the Child International conference (daCi).
FadaDance continues to provide Isabella with opportunities to develop her career as a dance artist and fuel her love of dance. In June 2022, she performed in ‘Holloway’ choreographed by Misty Wensel and the Trails Ensemble. In August 2022, she performed work in progress of ’(b)reach’ choreographed by Heather Cameron. In April 2025, she performed in the premiere of ‘(b)reach’ presented by New Dance Horizons as part of the Stream of Dance Festival.
In 2024, Isabella began creating dance work as a member of the FadaDance Troupe Emerging Ensemble. In April 2024, she choreographed and performed her first solo work for ‘Unravel & Thread’. In April 2025, Isabella created choreography and performed in ‘Rhythm Dust’. She performed and co-created a group piece with Misty Wensel, and performed and co-created a duet with Tayah Willick.
Isabella began teaching at FadaDance in 2023. Teaching Beginner Adult Contemporary and co-teaching Advanced Adult with Misty Wensel. Since 2023, she has also been involved with the FadaDance Youth Company. Choreographing dance work for ‘Rivulets’ in 2023, ‘Unravel & Thread’ in 2024 and ‘Rhythm Dust’ in 2025.
Isabella is a spark of joy. Her joy and love for dance is contagious. Creating a welcoming, playful yet focused dance class environment.
