Raegan Moynes

Raegan Moynes is an interdisciplinary artist and educator from Regina, Saskatchewan, with a love for all things movement, making, and imagination. A self-described “jack-of-all-things-creative”, she has worked and studied across a wide range of artistic fields, including visual arts, fashion, costuming for film and theatre, and of course, dance. Raegan began dancing at the age of three and has trained in contemporary, ballet, jazz, tap and lindy hop. She joined Fada as an Advanced Adult student in 2020 and never looked back.

She holds an MFA in Visual Arts from the University of Regina (2022), where she focused on sculpture, textiles, and installation. Her interest in 3D form and its spatial principles shapes her approach to dance and choreography. Likewise, her visual art practice is infused with a sense of motion, play, and physicality. She is deeply curious about the way our bodies can build, bend, and stretch the world around us.

This is Raegan’s third year teaching at Fada. She is endlessly inspired by the energy, humour, and heart of her students and the Fada community. She is looking forward to another year of learning, laughing and moving together!
